I bought this bike new. In less than a month a whole pedal and crank snapped off, revealing a screw completely stripped from about a third down, and a damaged crank. I took really good care of the bike, storing it inside and putting oil on the chain after a good ride. I'm disappointed in the Kink company. They do not live up to their company message. From what I have experienced they use cheap parts and don't quality test. The bike is currently back at Twowheeler dealer being repaired. As of now I recommend choosing a different company then Kink. Their faulty product has heavily inconvenienced me (walking around with a broken bike, and pedal wasn't what I planned to do when going for a bike ride) and put me in danger ( I was biking along a road when the pedal snapped off). In short I was sold a defective bike that has inconvenienced me, which is a shame since it was a really fun bike to ride while in one piece.
the bike is light weight. but after a while the forks will bend after a many times of hard riding.the tires arent the best either. i recomend kink foundation forks with badger bars and odyssey mike aitken tires 2.25 with heavy duty tubes. all together this bike is a great beginner bike.
